I’m kind of mad at myself for forgetting my camera during yesterday’s Sin of the City trip out to the Rockaways. So these are mediocre phone pictures.

The cold, combined with the overcast skies, cast a dim glow on the Sandy-ravaged peninsula. People are out and about, but I can’t help but feel like something is missing.

Is it a sense of hope? A sense of security? I don’t know.

…Home… smh. Sandy has knocked you down, but you will build yourself back up. Resilience.
